Den Elliott was interviewed in February 2008 by VICE MAGAZINE, about his 2006 project entitled "The Kids are Alright". The images were made in Den's hometown of Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, and document the lives of young people growing up on a coastal housing estate.

In response to the controversial and unlawful treatment of photographers in recent years by misinformed police, security staff and members of the public, I am enabling the free download of 'UK PHOTOGRAPHER'S RIGHTS' in PDF form.

This document clarifies the current laws that govern photography in Great Britain, and is especially relevant to the area of public or 'street' photography.

It is highly informative to both photographers and to members of the public who wish to know where they stand legally where photography is concerned.

This document has been researched and prepared by a legal expert and can be printed out and carried by photographers, who can then produce it in order to clarify their legal position if challenged whilst lawfully photographing in public places.

2009 has been a busy year for me, and i have enjoyed working with many new clients.

One such organisation is a new initiative called 'Take Part', which has been introduced in Exeter and is aimed at promoting active citizenship, encouraging members of the public to become more involved in their communities and particularly in the decision-making processes which directly affect our everyday lives.
